Laboratory

Picture
Blood work is an important part in determining the health of your pet.  Whether they may be in for surgery, ill, or elderly, blood work can help provide the next step in caring for your pet.  In our lab, we can run chemistry profiles and CBC's (Complete Blood Count) to diagnose many different diseases or infections.  We can also run ehrlichiosis, feline leukemia and FIV, urinalsysis, fecal exams, and bacteriology.  Our lab allows us to get fast and accurate results so we can provide treatment as soon as possible.

When we can not provide the laboratory tests required to diagnose your pet, we have a variety of outside labs to provide us with the results needed to treat your pet.  We also  can provide Thyroid testing and Allergy testing and an array of other tests.

Radiology

Many medical and surgical cases require radiographs to make a diagnosis.  We can take and process the x-rays quickly so that we can begin proper treatment immediately.

OFA hip certification is a procedure that can be done at our clinic as well.  This involves sedating the dog and taking proper radiographs of the hips.  The films are then sent to the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation of Animals) to determine if there is evidence of hip dysplasia.
